Three theories have been said so far by scientists about the mysterious birth of the universe, rather the early moments of universe. The first one is "The BigBang" which is the most accepted one. Second is "Existance theory", and the last one is "Pulsation theory". The Big Bang “Theory” (12 - 15 Billion years ago) The Big Bang is actually not a "theory" at all, but rather a scenario or model about the early moments of our universe, for which the evidence is overwhelming. It is a common misconception that the Big Bang was the origin of the universe. In reality, the Big Bang scenario is completely silent about how the universe came into existence in the first place. In fact, the closer we look to time "zero," the less certain we are about what actually happened, because our current description of phy...

Never say, "Never Again"

It was a n evening of a saturday. Usually I prefer to go to a nearby park which is full of colourful flowers and greenary all around and reasonably serene. I use to pass my evening time with my children either at home or in this park. The park provides all kinds of fun to children and even to elders. When I was walking slowly near the entrance of the park, I noticed a middle aged person trying to get down of an autorickshaw. I understood that the man was disabled. He tookout his standing support and placed it on the ground. Immediately, I saw a group of persons rushing towards him to help him. Two of them supported the person who cameout of the auto and escorted him to a bench inside the park. While they were crossing me, I closedly looked at the person. Oh, what a shocking scene it was. The person was none other than my old friend. He was the captain of our cricket team who played with immense passion to the game. My memories went back by ten years when we played together. He had alwa...

Psychopath-etic

In the last few weeks, many of the news papers were publishing the news about the menace posed by psychopaths. And the public have been hyperbolised about this. People were so alert that, they started beating everyone they come across, if the person has no knowledge of local language. People behaved in a manner that, one would get confused with, who is actually the psychopath. They went mad in a such a manner that, they broke the legs of an innocent deranged person and even went on to kill in some cases. I can understand, a psychopath doing crime against normal human being, but, it is hard and pathetic that normal persons doing such heinous acts against a mentally challenged person. Is it not our duty to take care of these unfortunate fellow beings ? Is it the fault of them to be born with insanity? As a matter of fact, I can say that, everyone of us has some kind of insanity in us. Are we not aware of this? Treat them as our patients. Help them. If not, atleast don't do any harm ...

Love and Affection - Understood and Not Understood

In the Morning Yesterday was my birthday. It gives much pleasure for anyone whether he /she celebrates it or not. Many of us would like to be greeted on that particular day. It was true in my case also until two, three years ago. But, later I considered not to celebrate my birthday with the same enthuse. If at all, it is celebrated, it is to be by someone else, but not by me. But to realise such things, one has to find an abode in many hearts. Yesterday morning I entered in to my office room after being greeted by some of my friends. With the usual smile and morning greetings to my colleagues, I just peeked at my table. To my astonishment, I found a floral arrangement over my table and a piece of paper, well decorated with loving wishes. Ah.... I dont find words to express my feelings. I was totally mouth-shut. I understood that, it was the work of my close cute friend. It took atleast few minutes to recover from the kind of emotion I was in. Just think for a while, a person taking muc...
